Will you send my CV without asking me?
No. Your CV is never sent to an employer without your explicit permission. We discuss every opportunity with you first.
Do I need to be actively looking?
No. Many candidates we work with are quietly open to the right move, not actively applying. Confidential conversations are welcome.
What types of AV jobs do you recruit for?
Live events, systems integration, broadcast, corporate AV, digital signage, AV sales, manufacturing, lighting, rigging, engineering, project management, and leadership roles.
Do you only recruit permanent roles?
Permanent is our primary focus, but we're open to contract, project-based, and confidential searches too.
Do you recruit remote roles?
Some roles are remote or hybrid — especially sales, design, support, and management. Many AV roles are site-based, field-based, or travel-based by nature.
What should I include in my CV?
AV experience, systems and platforms, certifications, project types, industries served, leadership experience, travel flexibility, location, and preferred role types.
What happens after I submit my CV?
We review your background. If your experience matches an active or future role, we'll reach out to discuss next steps confidentially.
Why do you always ask me to jump on a phone call?
We work with a lot of clients and a lot of open roles at the same time. The role we first reached out about might not end up being the right one for you — but the role that is right for you could come across our desks next week. A quick call is the fastest way to figure that out, together. Emails miss nuance; ten minutes on the phone usually doesn't.
Why do you ask about my salary?
We're a small team — mostly Englishmen — and we like to get straight to the point. If the role we're approaching you about doesn't meet your financial requirements, we'd rather know that upfront than waste your time or ours. And just as importantly: we want to get you where you want to be on salary. We can only do that if we know what that number actually is.
Why do you contact me so much?!
Our reach is nationwide and we're constantly building our database of AV professionals. That means a lot of cold outreach by email and phone — and the AV pros we want to talk to are some of the busiest people we know. It often takes a few attempts to actually get an answer. If you'd rather we slow down, just tell us — we'll respect that. Until then, persistence is part of the job.
During the interview process, what should I expect?
Before each interview, we check in to make sure you have all the details and fully understand the role you're interviewing for. Within a day after, we follow up to see how it went — and if you have questions or concerns, we'll clarify them with the employer on your behalf. We do the same before your first day, and we keep checking in after you start. This is a people business, and we treat it that way.
